At the Langkilde Wild Mustang Ranch we are opening our gates to you. Come join us and we'll show you how to have some real fun!! We are located along the banks of beautiful Craney Creek in Morehead Kentucky. Just down the road from the Daniel Boone National Forest and a close drive to Cave Run and Grayson Lakes. You can enjoy horseback riding, camping, hiking, tubing, repelling, at the ranch and even fishing on Craney Creek. We offer canoe and kayak rental packages, or there is boating, area ATV parks, mountain biking near Cave Run or Grayson Lakes.

Horseback Riding and Camp
We invite you to visit Langkilde Wild Mustang Ranch our secluded campground close to the Daniel Boone National Forest. It's a peaceful haven for horse lovers, mule riders, bicyclists, hikers, repelling enthusiasts, kayak/canoeing, boating or anyone who just wants to get away from it all. We even have our own beautiful Cave called Peters Cave, tons of horse trails, a beautiful flowing creek, streams and a waterfall on the property for your enjoyment. You won't find any place like it!
Langkilde Wild Mustang Ranch is perfect for small to large groups. Bring your Horses and/or small camper, small RV, horse trailer, or tent and lets have some fun!
Our Ranch offers spacious camping spots, glamping tipi, primitive camping cabin, bunkhouse rooms w/ kitchen, laundry facility and bath for your use at the main bunkhouse. We also have spacious shaded corrals for your horses or mules. Most of the campsites are primitive. However, we can offer city water fill up and generator rental, or electric site close to the main barn. Wifi is available at the main bunkhouse and surrounding grounds.
Our goal is to provide you, your family, or group with a vacation that will send you home wishing every day could be a "Langkilde Wild Mustang Ranch" day!
Pick your spot. We have areas ready for horses with tie rings, tie posts, or your own tie-line, offering great shade, stream and creek access for the horses, or we also have corrals and stalls available, as well. We have plenty of water and hay for your horses too. Free firewood is included at each site.
With thousands of acres of Daniel Boone National Forest around Langkilde Wild Mustang Ranch there is no need to load and haul horses to ride. The hours of trails right on the property or many miles of forest service roads close by, or elk and deer trails outside the gates of the ranch will keep you going for days. There is a great variety of terrain to fit everyone's level of experience.
We are constantly adding the little extras to make your trip perfect, so just ask and we may have it or could accommodate with new items upon request.
