Horseback Riding
Any level rider is welcome!! Bring your own horse or ride one of ours. At the Langkilde Wild Mustang Ranch we ride year-round!!!
Our ranch provides access to on-site rugged riding trails, or if you prefer a scenic ride through the Daniel Boone National Forest, we are just a run, trot, or canter away.....
One Hour Guide Rides Available
$50 for each person/hour
We offer 1 hour long Guided Trail Rides for individuals or small groups for $50 each person. Large groups would need to be split into two separate rides for safety reasons.
One hour rides are perfect for families with younger children. We do ask that parents use their best judgement for children under 8, as not every child is the same! For children under 8, we do offer a 30 minute "hand-led horse ride" in our round pen for $20. **Offered only to children of registered campers or those who are registered for adult guide rides, where the child is unable to participate.
Before each ride leaves (beginners only), a brief riding demonstration and quick lesson is given. As your ride moves along the trail, your wrangler will give you more tips and instructions...such as how to balance yourself when going up and down hills, keeping your horse on the trail so you 're not wandering around while your horse looks for a tasty treat to snack on...etc.
Our goal is to keep you safe, keep our horses safe, and most importantly, make sure you and your family have a memorable adventure at the ranch.
Horseback Riding Hours of Operation:
Mon-Sat 8am-5pm, no Sunday rides
NOTE: We DO NOT accept walk-ins. 48 HOUR MINIMUM advanced booking required for all rides, based on availability. Limited availability during the winter and wet months.

A $50 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED FOR GUIDED HORSE RIDES AT TIME OF RESERVATION.
IF RESERVING A CAMPING PACKAGE (TIPI, CABIN OR BUNKHOUSE) WITH HORSEBACK RIDING AND/OR KAYAKING, THEN THE TOTAL COST IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF YOUR RESERVATION.
